Wow, there are so many things to do that I don't even know where to start from!
Well, of those "many thing to do, I will first start researching for the computer software programs for music production. Musing Production software is the basic element for music production. Either you record sounds from instruments or use made sounds from computer, music producing software combine them altogether and polish them into a single mp3 sound file.
There are various types of music making software available out in the market. Each of them has its own pros and cons and choosing the right software that works the best for you will be tough. What program you use may affect your direction of music producing. Soon I will post about music producing software.
Hey ben having researched this topic over the last 3 years I would say that in your situation with a PC and wanting the most bang for your buck I would get FL studio. It is a program that has most things you could want to make a electronic recording ( I am less knowledgable about its ability to record). However it is also generally cheaper than most programs which is a plus side the lowest end is around 99$. if you have more questions be sure to ask I have spent much time on the topic that you are researching now.

Ben,
ReplyDeleteGood meeting yesterday! Don't forget to publish your blog entry about yesterday's meeting. I look forward to our next meeting.
Ben,
ReplyDeleteI just found this book on Amazon called Making Music with GarageBand and Mixcraft. I think you should get this, and it will probably be the most important print source for your WISE project. This book will give you a structured approach to learning the software and applying what you learned.
